Parallelism နဲ႔ပတ္သက္ၿပီး ေနာက္ဆံုးေဖာ္ျပမယ့္အပိုင္းကေတာ
Correlative Conjunction ေတြကေတာ့..Both...and....,Eithe
ဒီ Correlative Conjunction ေတြရဲ႕ေနာက္မွာလည္း ပံုစံတူစကားေတြ (Parallel elements)လိုက္ရပါမယ္။
ကဲ..နမူနာၾကည့္ရေအာင္...
(1) Petroleum is used not only in fuels but also in plastics.
ဓာတ္ဆီကို ေလာင္စာႏွင့္ ပလပ္စတစ္ (ထုတ္ရာ)တြင္ သံုးသည္။
ဒီ၀ါက်မွာ .. Not only...but also.. ေနာက္ in fuels နဲ႔ in plastics.ဆိုတဲ့ ပံုစံတူ စကားစုလိုက္ထားလို႔ Parallelism ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
(2) The speeches were neither too long nor too short.
ေျပာတဲ့စကားေတြက မရွည္လြန္း၊မတိုလြန္းပါပဲ။
Neither ...nor..ေနာက္မွာ too long နဲ႔ too short နာမ၀ိေသသန လိုက္လို႔ parallel ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ဒါကို ဒီလိုျပင္ေရးလဲ ရတယ္။
Neither the speeches were too long nor they were too short.
ဒီေနရာမွာေတာ့ Neither ...nor..ေနာက္မွာ ၀ါက်(S+V)လိုက္ ပံုစံတူေရးလို႔ Parallelism ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
(3)The storm will be moving either east through Min Tat or northeast through Hakha.
မုန္တုိင္းဟာ မင္းတပ္ကို ျဖတ္ၿပီးအေရွ႕ဖက္၊ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ ဟားခါးကိုျဖတ္ၿပီး အေရွ႕ေျမာက္ဖက္ကို ေရြ႕လ်ားလိမ့္မယ္။
Either...or.... ေနာက္ေတြမွာ east through Min Tat နဲ႔ northeast through Hakha. ဆိုတဲ့ တူညီတဲ့ စကားစုေတြလိုက္လို႔ Parallelism ျဖစ္ပါ တယ္။
(4) I would like both to buy a new house and to purchase a new car.
ငါက အိမ္သစ္တစ္လံုးလည္း၀ယ္ခ်င္တယ္။က
ဒီ၀ါက်မွာ..both...and... ေနာက္ to buy a new house နဲ႔ to purchase a new car ဆိုတဲ့ To+V1 ပံုစံတူလိုက္တဲ့အတြက္ Parallel ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
(5)They were told to either reduce the staff or find new customers.
၀န္ထမ္းအင္အားေလွ်ာ့ဖို႔ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ ကပ္စတန္မာ အသစ္ေတြ ရွာဖို႔ သူတို႔ကို ေျပာထားတယ္။
ဒီ၀ါက်မွာလဲ either...or... ရဲ႕ေနာက္မွာ reduce the staff နဲ႔ find new customers ဆိုတဲ့ V1+Obj ပံုစံတူလိုက္လို႔ parallelism ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
They were told either to reduce the staff or to find new customers. ဆိုၿပီး infinitive နဲ႔လည္း ေရးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။
(6) Ko Ko Tun is neither going to the class nor doing his homework.
ကိုကိုထြန္းဟာ အတန္းတက္မွာ မဟုတ္သလို အိမ္စာလညး္ လုပ္မွာ မဟုတ္ ပါ။
ဒီမွာလည္း going to the class နဲ႔ doing his homework ပံုစံတူကို either .. or..ေနာက္မွာထားလို႔ Parallel ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
(7) I hope not only to go to France but also to live there later on.
ျပင္သစ္ကို သြားဖို႔ေရာ ၊ ေရွ႕ဆက္ၿပီး အဲဒီမွာ ေနဖို႔ပါ ငါေမွ်ာ္လင့္ထားတယ္။
ဒီ၀ါက်မွာ not only....but also.....ေနာက္မွာ To+V1 ပံုစံတူ လိုက္ထားတဲ့ အတြက္ Parallelism ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

ဒီ၀ါက်မွာ neither....nor...ေနာက္က a Democrat နဲ႔ is she a Republican ႏွစ္မ်ိဳးဟာ ပံုစံတူ မဟုတ္လို႔ မွားေနတာပါ။ေအာက္ကအတိုင္း ပံုစံတူ ႏွစ္မ်ိဳးနဲ႔ ျပင္ေရးႏိုင္တယ္။

ဒါဆို balance ျဖစ္သြားပါၿပီ။

စာေရးဆရာဟာ ေက်ာ္ၾကားမႈေရာ ေငြေၾကးေရာလိုခ်င္တယ္။
ဒီ၀ါက်မွာ not only...but also...ေနာက္မွာ wants fame နဲ႔ money.မတူညီတဲ့ ႀကိယာ နဲ႔ နာမ္ လိုက္ထားတဲ့အတြက္ မွားေနတာပါ။
ကဲ .မွန္သြားေအာင္ .ေအာက္ကအတိုင္း (၂)မ်ိဳးျပင္ၾကည့္ပါမယ္။

ဒီလိုမွားသံုးတာကို Faulty Parallelismလို႔ ေခၚပါတယ္။ဒါေၾကာင့္က႑တိုင္း မွာ မွားသံုးတတ္ပံုေလးေတြကို နမူနာ၀ါက်ေတြနဲ႔တကြ ရွင္းျပခဲ့တာ ျဖစ္ပါ တယ္။

Parallelism ဟာ သဒၵါစည္းမ်ဥ္းတစ္ခု ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ဒီစည္းမ်ဥ္းကို "သဒၵါမို႔ မေလ့လာခ်င္ပါဘူး " ဆိုပါလွ်င္ မွန္ကန္အျပစ္ကင္းတဲ့ စာေၾကာင္းမ်ား ေရးသားရာမွာ အခက္အခဲနဲ႔ ႀကံဳေတြ႕ႏိုင္တတ္ပါေၾကာင္း တင္ျပရင္း..။ ။
